little jack

i recall jack when he
was just a wee itty bitty
little jack.
he and oliver were in the infant room
together at daycare.

what a CUTIE.

and EVEN CUTER NOW.

the driscoll family is epic rad!
their shoot was so fun!

meet jack and his adoring mom + dad
and sweet big brother (woof), quincy:

so so so
fun.

nik

ps.

so you know any awesome
high school seniors that
would like some rad senior photos?
send them my way!

danny was so much fun to work with!
i got teary-eyed when his mom told me
how fast he went from her tiny baby boy
to her baby boy who is graduating from high school this year...

pss.

they do grow fast.
super fast.

i swear
i was just honeymooning it italy
daydreaming with my groom
about the little babies
we would have one day...

and already
our babies are so big.
and so precious.

a very fond farewell

to 2012,

a beautiful year.

my favorite day of this year:

2.22.12
(from the journal i keep for him)
dear miles,
i have you in my arms! you are here!
and you are perfect.  daddy, oliver and i are totally
in LOVE with you...
welcome to the world sweet baby miles.
love,
mom.

what a year indeed.

i look forward to all that lies
ahead in 2013.

i even made a few wee resolutions:

get more fresh air.
less iPad, more legos, cars, blocks, robots...
eat more green stuff.
drink a bit less red stuff.
make a bit more use of my gym membership.
push creativity.
pick up my camera
even more than i did in 2012.

a random few (maybe a bit more than a few)
of my favorite images of the year:

in 2013
i will continue to be
ever so thankful
to be surrounded by the
most amazing family and friends and
for the opportunity i have
to do what i love +
love what i do.

cheers to 2013!
may it be your best year yet.

"life is too short to wake in the morning
with regrets.  so love the people who treat you right
and forget the ones that don't
and believe that everything happens for a reason.
if you get a chance, take it.
if it changes your life, let it.
nobody said that it'd be easy,
they just promised it would be worth it." - anon.
