love stories: andrea + phil; miles + elmo

andrea + phil = happiest, smiley-est couple ever.

these two have incredibly infectious smiles

they are so totally in love... the infectious smiles are constant

which made for a super awesome engagement session.

dad teamed up with me for this shoot and the four of us had a marvelous time

wandering the streets of tacoma.

we began at a favorite quaint coffee shop

and ended at the pub

where the happiest, smiley-est couple had their very first date.

very. romantical.

and so much fun.

speaking of smiley...

my littlest buddy is five months old!

he has a BIG bright smile.
he giggles. he rolls
he tries desperately to suck his thumb while also drinking his bottle.
(makes me laugh all the time).
he drools so much, we have started calling him "bernard."
he melts my heart all day long.
he is in love with big brother.
also has a major crush on his funny red furry friend.

rice rice baby! adventure awaits...

i let oliver take an extra long bath yesterday.

now that the sun is out... he is outside a lot.

he is in turn, filthy dirty. a lot.  especially those little feet.

only ten minutes after he was freshly washed, it was time for lunch.

i set him up to the table with his lunch.

i left for two minutes to check on miles.

i came back.

me:  ohmygosholiver!!!! why is there cottage cheese all over you?

oliver: it lotion, it lotion, it lotion though.

me: oliver!!!!

oliver: but its ok though.

and then i just let it go.  we finished lunch. 

then we scrubbed the "lotion" and other food items off.

lunchtime surprises and other such adventures await my 

baby sis and her husband, newby mommy and daddy! 

may they savor every moment of the journey.

every sticky, messy, beautiful moment.
