happy birthday to "daddy"

it felt like it was MY birthday when i woke up this morning at 5:00 am
and peaked out through a crack in the bedroom door at
my brand new beautiful kitchen that ryan built
in our comfy cozy home
after my nearly 3 week old son slept seven hours straight.
i watched in the baby monitor as ryan went in to SING goodbye to
oliver before heading off to work.
i nearly melted when he came back in to kiss me and baby miles goodbye
for a third time before leaving.

happy birthday to the man i share this beautiful life with.

he is handsome, devoted, kind, talented, hard-working,
funny, loving, absolutely amazing in every way.

i love this man.
